As everyone is aware of the new territory that we are all currently facing, we want you to know what steps we are taking as a small business and farm to mitigate spreading COVID-19 as we are taking this pandemic seriously.
We will continue to be open Friday thru Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. We will also be open by appointment Monday to Thursday. If you would like to schedule an appointment please either call 401-592-4665 or book online on our facebook page.
We have updated our operating procedures as follows to make sure we adhere to the CDC recommendations as well as to make sure all our customers feel comfortable buying our products from our farm. Please see the following statement we are releasing in response to the current challenges we are facing.
A message about COVID-19
Like many, if not all of us, we are monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are concerned about the health of our customers and our families. We are committed to following the national, state and local direction, guidelines and best practices which are listed below along with our White Rock Farm practices.
Center for Disease Control Recommendations
· Wash your hands often throughout the day. Use warm water and soap or alcohol-based hand gel (min 60% alcohol)
· Cough or sneeze into your elbow
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth
· Avoid close contact with people who are sick
· Stay home if you are sick
· Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious foods
· Keep surfaces (especially bedside tables, surfaces in the bathroom, and toys for children) clean by wiping them down with a household disinfectant
White Rock Farm Practices
(in addition to the CDC Recommendations)
- Clean all frequently touched surfaces after every customer
o iPad
o Documents / pens / etc - Clean other surfaces every hour
o Tables
o Freezers - Use social distancing as much as is practical
